Initial Fees
Free advice. You only pay if you wish to proceed with our recommendations.
Your initial meeting and our recommendations cost nothing. A fee applies only if you like our advice and ask us to put it in place, and every cost is confirmed in writing before any work starts.
What happens, step by step
Initial meeting
A video call to understand your goals and current situation.
No cost
Your recommendations
We research the market and build your personalised advice, then take you through it. You decide whether to go ahead.
No cost
Putting it in place
Only if you ask us to implement our recommendations do we charge the one-off initial fee, confirmed in writing first.
Initial fee
Ongoing service
If you'd like us to keep your plan on track, choose Lite, Core or Wealth for regular reviews and support.
Optional annual fee
Initial advice fees
A one-off, tiered fee, charged only if you ask us to put our recommendations in place. The more you invest, the lower the percentage, and you'll know the exact figure before we start.
Falling to 0.5% on larger amounts, so the overall rate reduces as your investment grows.
Applies to investable amounts under £37,500, including regular premium investments.
Our "decency limit": however much you invest, the initial fee is capped.
How the tiers work
Each rate applies only to the part of your investment that falls within that band.
| Amount advised on | Rate | Fee for this band |
|---|---|---|
| The first £100,000 | 2% | Up to £2,000 |
| £100,001 to £250,000 | 1% | Up to £1,500 |
| £250,001 to £500,000 | 0.75% | Up to £1,875 |
| Over £500,000 | 0.5% | 0.5% of the rest |
Work out your fee
Enter the amount you'd like advice on to see your initial fee.
Include any regular premium investments. This is an illustration only: we'll confirm your exact fee in writing before any work starts.
Work outside our inclusive service
If you ask us to do something that isn't part of our inclusive service, such as setting up a trust, we'll agree a fee based on our hourly rates before any work starts. This is usually because third parties need to be involved.
Please note that we don't advise on defined benefit (final salary) pension transfers.
